Are top hung with the winding mechanism at the bottom and the flyscreen fitting to the inside of the window. This allows greater secuity as the windows open only 300mm as well as improved viewing for there are no rails across the centre of your window.
This is the most economical of windows to manufacture. Able to be double glazed and when fitted with weather sealing are draught proof.
